Saturn travels in a rasi for two and a half years. There are 12 rasis. One rotation of the saturn around the zodiac takes 26 .xx years.

When traversing saturn is infront of your birth chart Moon's house , this is called 7 1/2 saturn's first part. When this traversing saturn is with your birth chart moon's house , this is called 7 1/2 saturn's middle part.

When traversing Saturn is in the 2nd house from your birth chart moon , this is called last part of 7 1/2 saturn.

Suppose if a person falls sick , then the astrologer tells to perform an Arsanai to that native's birth star.( with his name ) .

Our birth star is Vaaju Tattwam . It is Air element. Lord of the Air element is saturn . Saturn is Vaaju Tattwam. Our soul live in our body like Vaaju.
When we die this Vaaju leave our body.

Vaaju lement shows strength. When you sick you loose strength. Hanuman is Vaaju Bhagavan. Hanuman has got very powerful physical strength.

What is Lagnam Rasi etc...

What is Lagnam ? Suppose I tell you Colombo city is 250 miles ? From WHERE it is 250 miles ? It is 250 miles from JAFFNA town. Here Jaffna is a reference point.

The Lagnam is the reference point to judge a horoscope / Jatakam. Lagnam is the first house in a Jatakam. From the first house only we decide the matters in the horoscope.
In short, the Lagnam is the division of TWO hours. There are 12 Rasis. So 12x2=24 hours. Onece earth's rotation is 24 hours , ( day and night. )

Lagna point moves 4 minutes per one degree. A circle is 360 degree. So 360x4=1440 . If we divide 1440 by 60 , this give 24 hrs. This 24 hours is a day and night. One rotation of the earth.

What is Rasi ? Moon's position is Rasi. An approcimate division of 24 hours is Rasi. ( Not exactly 24 hrs ).

What is Sun Rasi. ? Sun stays in a Rasi for one month. There are 12 Rasis. On each Rasi, Sun traverse for one month. These 12 months is one year.

Lagnam is called as Janma Lagnam.
Rasi is called as Janma Rasi.
Sun place is called as Surya Rasi.

Hare means Lagnam. Rama means Surya/ Sun . Krishna means Chandra/moon.

Rama was from Surya Vamsa / origin. Lord krishana was from Chandra Vamsam/ origin.
